Why do you want to learn English?
There are many reasons you may want to study English, and those reasons are unique to you. I understand this and create bespoke lessons that will benefit you and allow you to achieve your specific English goals. Below are some of the reasons students have for wanting to improve their English level.
WORK
English is the language of international business and you may be dealing with clients and colleagues from all over the world. You may want to build up your skills so you can communicate your ideas effectively and with confidence through emails and online or face-to-face meetings.
Specific problems
One of the most convenient things about Hop-on Hop-off English is that unlike many schools, you don't need to book multiple lessons at a time. If you just want one lesson for 60 or even 30 minutes to help you with a particular language problem, that is fine. Just book a time that is convenient and just pay for that lesson, it's as simple as booking a haircut.
STUDY
You may studying at an overseas University. Perhaps even at Cambridge, where I am based. You may need very specific vocabulary to help you write essays. Perhaps you need help preparing a presentation, or proof reading your written work. I can help you with all aspects of studying at an English speaking university.
TRAVEL
If you have travel plans but worry about your English level, then get in touch and we can learn all the useful phrases and techniques for communicating with the people you will meet. on your travels, from hotel staff, airline companies, restaurants and every other aspect of travelling abroad.
FUN
You may just want to study for pleasure! Do you want to enjoy TV or movies in English? Or read English newspapers, magazines or books?
You can even study together with a friend or partner with me. 2 to 1 lessons are becoming more common and also have the advantage of a discounted rate.
TESTS AND EXAMS
If you need to take an exam such as IELTS, TOEIC, EIKEN or the Cambridge ESOL tests, then I can help you with the different aspects of these tests too. We can practice speaking tests, writing practice and lots of the vocabulary and grammar you need in order to help you reach your required score.
